On 1 June public transport will be reorganised. Main boulevards will be closed

On Thursday, June 1, Chisinau will be practically blocked and public transport routes will be reorganised, Chisinau Mayor Ion Ceban said today at the weekly meeting of Chisinau City Hall services. According to the mayor general, part of the public transport will deviate from the usual route starting May 31, when several European delegations will arrive in Chisinau.

"Several public transport routes will be reorganized and several streets will be closed, including main boulevards. There will be situations when it will not be possible to move from one part of the city to another."

The Republic of Moldova is hosting the European Political Community Summit, which will take place on 1 June, bringing together for the first time 50 officials, including presidents of state, prime ministers and senior European officials.
