Official delegations of Greece, Slovakia, Austria and Bulgaria arrived in the Republic of Moldova
The official delegations of Greece, Slovakia, Austria and Bulgaria have arrived at Chisinau International Airport.
**The Slovak delegation is led by Prime Minister Ludovic Odor. **The expansion and development of the bilateral partnership between the two states takes place in various fields, including: road safety, emergency situations, border management. The Republic of Moldova aims to establish a permanent dialogue with law enforcement agencies in Slovakia, with a view to joining efforts to maintain cross-border security.
**On behalf of Austria, the Federal Chancellor of the Republic of Austria, Karl Nehammer, is participating in the EPC Summit. **Moldovan-Austrian bilateral relations enjoy consistency on various current topics on the security agenda. Austria's support for our country is directed at various levels, in the form of assistance projects or the transfer of good practices to increase the quality of security services provided to society, to combat the criminal phenomenon, but also to ensure respect for fundamental human rights.
Together with other presidents of states and heads of government, the Bulgarian leader, Rumen Radev, will participate in the Summit. The discussions will focus on energy stability and resilience, the sustainability of European states and joint efforts to achieve peace in the context of the war in Ukraine.
The Hellenic Republic will be represented at the EPC Summit by President Katerina Sakellaropoulou. We mention that Greece supported the development and activity plan of the European Union Security Hub for internal security and border management of the Republic of Moldova, thus contributing to the eradication of increasingly complex forms of cross-border crime, in the context of the humanitarian crisis caused by the war in Ukraine. Greece is a determined supporter of our country's accession to the European Union.
