During the discussion, the head of state thanked for the importance of cooperation in the field of fighting corruption and for the energy sector.

According to the Presidency, Maia Sandu also had a telephone conversation with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Marija Pejčinović Burić, during which the two talked about the justice reform process in the Republic of Moldova.
