Ukraine will send pilots to train on F-16 aircraft in several stages
Ukraine will send dozens of pilots in several stages to train on Western F-16 jets, Air Force spokesman Iuri Ihnat said. According to him, a first list of participants in the respective exercises has already been compiled. The official from Kiev said that it is currently impossible to send a large number of pilots at the same time, due to the high intensity of the activity of the Ukrainian aviation on the Russian forces, reports the RBC Press Agency.
We remind that several European countries, Canada and the United States desire to start training Ukrainian pilots on modern F-16 aircraft. US President Joe Biden confirmed Washington's plans to join the initiative. The start date of the exercises is unknown, but Warsaw has announced that it has already developed a training program for Ukrainian pilots. The United Kingdom would also join these efforts.
