Air operators from the Republic of Moldova can operate flights to the UK

National air carriers can operate flights in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from 31 May 2023, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development has announced.

This is possible after the English authorities excluded national operators from the UK safety list, following an assessment mission, carried out between 3-7 April this year.

Thus, the UK Flight Safety Committee found that the Republic of Moldova meets the requirements to be excluded from the list.

"This action marks the completion of the 6th stage of the elimination process, after the fair and proportional assessment of all air carriers in the country," states the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development.
