Speeding up Moldova's EU accession process to be promoted in Brussels and Stockhom

The acceleration of Moldova's accession process to the European Union will be promoted in Brussels and Stockhom, announces the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Nicu Popescu. To this end, the official from Chisinau will visit the two countries from 6 to 8 June.

Tomorrow in Brussels, the Moldovan head of diplomacy will meet Mircea Geoană, NATO Deputy Secretary General, Gert Jan Koopman, Director General for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and other European officials.

On Wednesday and Thursday, 7-8 June, in Stockholm, Nicu Popescu will meet Tobias Billström, Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs, Jessika Roswall, Minister for European Affairs and other Swedish officials.

The work programme also includes participation in the annual conference of the European Council on Foreign Affairs, the official said on his Telegram channel.
