The decision on the new gas tariffs, published in the Official Gazette
Starting today, we will pay 11 lei less for natural gas. The decision of the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) was published in the Official Gazette.
Thus, according to the decision, domestic consumers will pay a rate of 18 lei and 6 bani for a cubic meter of gas, including VAT.
We remind you that, yesterday, ANRE decided to lower the price of natural gas by 11 lei. The changes were justified by the reduction in the price of natural gas at the European level and the appreciation of the leu against the US dollar.
We remind that, since October last year, and until now, consumers have paid 29 lei and 27 bani per cubic meter of gas.
The natural gas tariff has been continuously increasing in the last 18 months due to the rise in prices on international markets, in particular, following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
