War in Ukraine: Odessa region attacked with Russian drones and missiles

The Russian Federation military attacked with eight drones and two Russian missiles in Ukraine's Odessa region last night.

"Today the enemy attacked the Poltava region. During a night attack near the Mirgorod military airfield, the enemy used Iskander-type ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as Iranian-made attack drones," the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Dmitry Lunin, wrote.

As a result of the attack, there is *"some damage to the airfield's infrastructure and equipment". There were no casualties. Measures are currently being taken to eliminate the consequences.

According to Dmitry Lunin, air defences have been functioning and eight private buildings and four cars have been damaged by falling debris.

Explosions also echoed last night in Odessa. The Operational Command "South" reported that an air battle took place, all "enemy" kamikaze drones were eliminated.

The wreckage of one of the drones hit an apartment in a block of flats, causing a fire. Subsequently, three people were confirmed dead and 26 others were injured.
