The contract for the construction of the Chisinau-Comrat-Giugiulești road was signed

"State Administration of Roads" State Enterprise signed the contract for the execution of the construction works of the M3 road Chisinau - Comrat - Giugiulești - border with Romania, with the financial support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The announcement was made by the Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Lilia Dabija, in a press conference.

The EBRD will allocate over 20 million euros, according to a Loan Agreement concluded with our country previously and renegotiated by the Chisinau Government at the end of last year.

According to it, the Republic of Moldova will receive a loan of one hundred million euros for the construction and rehabilitation of roads.

The Republic of Moldova advanced during 2024 on the path to accession to the European Union, despite the major challenges caused by the war launched by the Russian Federation in Ukraine and the hybrid pressures against our country. The challenges could continue in 2025, and they derive from the fact that the Russian Federation does not respect the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country, Cristina Gherasimov said in an interview for Moldova1 TV. The Republic of Moldova is working to know how to react in such a way as to diminish the dangers that threaten the European path, and 2030 is a real deadline for completing preparations for accession to the EU.
