European integration and security of the Republic of Moldova on the agenda of the new Romanian Government

Romania will continue to support Moldova's European course and ensure the security and stability of our country, Romania's new Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu said today.

"In our neighbourhood policy, we will pay special attention to our brothers across the Prut. Romania will strongly support Moldova's accession to the European Union. We will continue to provide all the necessary resources for the pro-European administration and the people of the Republic of Moldova to resist Russian threats. Romania is and will remain the guarantor of Moldova's European integration, security and stability", said Marcel Ciolacu.

Referring to foreign policy actions, Marcel Ciolacu added that Romania will maintain its position on the Russian Federation's war in Ukraine and will become a central pillar in the reconstruction process of Ukraine.
