ANTA: Green Card insurance certificates for the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus will no longer be valid in a few days

As of 30 June 2023, Green Card insurance certificates for the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus are no longer valid. The announcement was made by the Council of Bureaux in Brussels (COB), which sent an information note to the National Bureaux of the International Green Card Insurance Scheme (IGIS) on the suspension of the membership of the Green Card Bureaux of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.

In this context, the National Motor Transport Agency advises transport operators to inform themselves about the road transport regulations applicable in these countries, including the rules on insurance of transport units.

Citizens of the Republic of Moldova will be able to request an ambulance or police with a single click, using a mobile application. An agreement in this regard was signed by the 112 Service with an economic agent that is developing the application from a technical viewpoint.
