Former Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu was decorated with the "Order of Honor" by Maia Sandu
The former Foreign Minister of Romania, Bogdan Aurescu, was decorated with the "Order of Honor". The decree was signed yesterday by the president Maia Sandu.
"As a sign of high appreciation for the contribution made to the strengthening of relations between the Republic of Moldova and Romania and to the strengthening of the Strategic Partnership between the two states, as well as for supporting the European path of our country and promoting common interests within the institutions of the European Union, to Mr. Bogdan-Lucian Aurescu, advisor for foreign policy to the President of Romania, ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, is awarded the "Order of Honor", the decree states.
We remind you that last week the Government of Romania, led by Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu, was inaugurated by the Parliament. Luminița Odobescu was appointed as Minister of Foreign Affairs.
