The Ministry reminded that according to the ruling of the Constitutional Court it is "responsible for excluding this formation from the State Register of Legal Entities."

According to the report, the Ministry of Justice will appoint a liquidation commission of the political party "Shor," which will take all necessary measures to liquidate and exclude the party from the State Register of Legal Entities.

"In connection with the procedure of immediate liquidation of a political party, with the appointment of the liquidators of the party the powers of the bodies of the political party are terminated, the liquidators are responsible for the inventory of the political property of the party. From the moment a political party is in the process of liquidation, it loses the right to receive allocations from the state budget," says the Ministry of Justice.

Two days ago, the Constitutional Court accepted the Government's referral submitted last fall and declared the "Şor" Political Party unconstitutional. The party's representatives declare the Court's verdict unfounded and say they will challenge it in international courts.

We remind you that the Executive requested, in November 2022, the verification of the constitutionality of the "Sor" Party, which it accused of acting in contradiction with the principles of the rule of law and endangering the sovereignty and independence of the Republic of Moldova, being financed from outside and supported by Russian secret services.
