CSE decision: "Moldovagaz" will buy natural gas from "Energocom" at a price of over one thousand dollars
"Moldovagaz" will buy natural gas from SA "Energocom" at a price of about 1108.61 dollars per thousand cubic meters. The purchased gases will be delivered exclusively on the territory of the Republic of Moldova where the licensed system operators operate. A decision to this effect was taken on December 16 by the Commission for Emergency Situations.
According to the issued document, gas payments will be made by January 20, 2023. In the event that "Moldovagaz" does not settle the debt related to the price on time and in full, and the delay continues for more than 5 banking days, SA "Energocom" will immediately notify the government. The final volume and price of natural gas will be specified by January 10, 2023. The measure was approved for the purpose of providing the Republic of Moldova with energy resources in the context of reducing the volume of natural gas supplied by JSC "Gazprom".
