The way of establishing and granting allowances for the payment of energy bills will be adjusted
The regulation regarding the assignment of energy vulnerability categories and the method of establishing and paying compensations for the payment of energy bills will be adjusted, according to a decision approved yesterday by the members of the Commission for Eemergency Situations.
Thus, household consumers, who have the R coefficient greater than or equal to 15%, but less than 35%, will be assigned the medium energy vulnerability category, and those with the R coefficient less than or equal to 15% - the low one. At the same time, households with an income greater than or equal to 5 thousand lei, which indicated in the application a total family income of less than 25% of the estimated cost of energy, will be applied at most to the medium vulnerability category. To review the category, consumers can submit a request to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection to modify the request in the Energy Vulnerability Information System. Household members declared in the initial application cannot be excluded from the application.
