Chechen leader Ramzan Kadîrov promises support for the Kremlin
Chechen leader Ramzan Kadîrov condemned the actions of Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin on Saturday and pledged support for the Kremlin. Addressing the Wagner fighters, Ramzan Kadîrov said that the security of the state and the cohesion of Russian society at such a time are above all else.

Kadîrov also spoke of a "vile betrayal" on the part of Prigozhin. In a long statement on Telegram, Ramzan Kadîrov also said: "No, no, no! I have repeatedly warned that war is not the time to express personal grievances and settle disputes behind us. The back must always be calm and trust. Imagine how the boys in the trenches feel now, in front of them is an enemy, and behind them a treacherous adventure. We are talking about stability, about the cohesion of the state, about the security of the citizens. We have a supreme commander, elected by the people, who knows the whole situation to the smallest detail better than any strategist".
The head of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said on Saturday that he had taken control of key military facilities in Rostov and Voronezh, threatening to move to Moscow if Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and top general Valery Gerasimov did not meet him. Earlier, he official Russian news agency TASS reported that traffic was blocked on the M-4 highway after Rostov-on-Don towards Aksai.
"All cars moving from Rostov-on-Don to Aksai are being diverted back to the city, and police checkpoints have been strengthened," TASS reported.
