Strengthening the capacities of institutions in ensuring peace and security, debureaucratizing the economy and increasing investments in the railway sector are some of the actions that are part of the National Plan "Building a European Moldova".

Currently, the Government is working on 20 priority actions, announced Prime Minister Dorin Recean.

The Prime Minister asked citizens and civil society to monitor the implementation of these actions and to come up with proposals.

"The government has already demonstrated the ability to manage hybrid threats, but we need to further strengthen this capability. The plan for economic development contains priority activities to actively promote the digitalization agenda, to increase investments in roads, in the integration infrastructure on road bridges with Romania and Ukraine. I want to ask the citizens, the media, civil society to follow carefully and come up with recommendations in the implementation process", said the prime minister.

The main challenges that could lead to a significant crisis include the potential interruption of natural gas supplies to the Transnistrian region and the request from Moldovagaz to increase tariffs by more than four lei. At the start of the Cabinet of Ministers' meeting, the Prime Minister assured that, despite these difficulties, the government will work to find solutions to manage the situation.
