The Republic of Moldova will get a loan of over 50 million euros for agriculture
The Republic of Moldova will get a loan worth 50.1 million euros from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development for implementing the "Investments for Governance, Growth and Resilience in Agriculture (AGGRI)" project. In this sense, the Foreign Policy and European Integration Commission approved the co-report to the draft law for the ratification of that agreement.
According to the Legislative, the AGGRI project aims to support the objectives of the Republic of Moldova to improve the provision of public agricultural services, to stimulate market-oriented growth and to increase the resilience of the targeted beneficiaries, to increase access to irrigation services and, in the event of an eligible crisis or emergency, to respond promptly and efficiently to it.
Implementation is planned to end in September 2029.
We mention that the draft law for the ratification of the agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the IBRD will be subject to a vote in the plenary session of the Parliament.
