The Republic of Moldova and France will sign an Agreement of interparliamentary cooperation
The Interparliamentary Cooperation Agreement between the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova and the National Assembly of the French Republic will be signed in Chisinau. The document will be signed on Friday by the Moldovan Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu and the President of the National Assembly of France, Yaël Braun-Pivet, who is on an official visit to the Republic of Moldova. This is the first visit to the Republic of Moldova by a President of the National Assembly of France in the 31 years since the establishment of Moldovan-French diplomatic relations.
Also, the president of the National Assembly of France, Yaël Braun-Pivet, will deliver a speech in the plenary session of the Parliament, and afterwards, he will hold a press conference together with the Speaker Igor Grosu.
According to the agenda of the visit, Yaël Braun-Pivet will have meetings with the head of state Maia Sandu, with the Parliament Speaker, Igor Grosu, and with the prime minister Dorin Recean. Also, the president of the National Assembly of France will hold discussions with the president of the Friendship Group with the French Republic, Marcela Adam, with the president of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Commission, Doina Gherman, but also with representatives of civil society. At the end of the visit, as a sign of friendship between the Republic of Moldova and France, the Parliament Speaker of the Republic of Moldova and the President of the National Assembly of France will plant trees at the "Alexandru Ciubotaru" National Botanical Garden.
