In June, AIPA allocated subsidies of around 280 million lei to farmers
Around 280 million lei were allocated by the Agricultural Intervention and Payments Agency to farmers in the Republic of Moldova in June. The money has already been disbursed to the accounts of subsidy applicants by AIPA. Since the beginning of the year, more than 860 million lei have been disbursed to the accounts of subsidy recipients for applications under various incentive mechanisms.

Thus, more than 250 million lei were allocated for post-investment subsidies, and 20 million lei - for applications for advance subsidy. At the same time, advance applications for start-up project development will receive about 850 thousand lei, and those for project implementation through the LEADER approach - more than 6 million lei. The Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture assures agricultural producers that it is making considerable efforts to optimize the process of evaluation and payment, as soon as possible, of the applications for financial support submitted in the grant year 2022. In fact, for the post-investment facility, of the approximately 11 thousand applications submitted, more than 7 600 have been paid, with 1.2 billion lei authorised for this purpose. At the same time, AIPA announces that more than 3,000 other applications are to be processed.
For 2023, according to the state budget law, the National Fund for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Environment is 1.5 billion lei. In 2022, the subsidy fund was the same, but during the year it was increased for the first time to 1.7 billion lei.
