EU Economy Commissioner Paolo Gentiloni comes to Moldova

Closer economic cooperation with the European Union will be the main topic of discussions between the Moldovan authorities and the European Commissioner for the Economy, Paolo Gentiloni, who is due to visit our country on 6-7 July. The announcement was made today by Government spokesman Daniel Voda.

"The talks are expected to focus on progress on macro-financial assistance, but also on ways in which Moldova and the European Union can intensify their economic cooperation, trade and cooperation. Tomorrow, the European official will meet with President Maia Sandu, Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, Prime Minister Dorin Recean, Moldovan Head of Diplomacy Nicu Popescu and Minister of Economic Development and Digitisation Dumitru Alaiba," said Daniel Voda.
