Since the beginning of 2023, more than one million passengers have passed through Chisinau International Airport

Since the beginning of 2023, more than one million passengers have passed through Chisinau International Airport, which represents an increase of 65.4% or more than 400 thousand passengers compared to the previous year.

According to a statement issued by the Airport representatives, the number of aircraft take-offs and landings is also increasing, reaching 2,294 operations, which is 395 more operations than in June 2022.

The source also notes that the transport in the cargo segment in June 2023 amounted to 203.9 tons, 23.9% more than in June of the previous year.
