US President Joe Biden on a tour of three European countries

US President Joe Biden left on Sunday for an official visit to three countries, a tour that will be dominated by the NATO summit in Vilnius, Lithuania, where solidarity with Ukraine in its fight against Russia will be expressed, although NATO has not yet accepted Kiev as a member of the alliance, Reuters reports.

Joe Biden's first stop will be London, where he will meet British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at 10 Downing Street on Monday, before moving on to Windsor Castle for a meeting with King Charles III. The talks with the king, which are expected to include climate initiatives, will give Joe Biden a clearer picture of the man who succeeded his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who died last September. Joe Biden had tea with the Queen at Windsor in June 2021, and they discussed many of the same issues that remain a top priority today, such as Russia and China.

President Biden will leave Monday evening for Vilnius, where he will hold talks with NATO leaders.

Joe Biden's last stop will be in Helsinki for talks with the leaders of NATO's newest member, Finland, and to attend a summit of US and Nordic leaders.
