Veronica Mihailov-Moraru urges prosecutors to participate in the election of CSP members: "CSP members are not elected for the Minister of Justice or for the Government"
After the date of the General Assembly of Prosecutors (CSP) was set, the Minister of Justice came with a message for all prosecutors. She urged them to participate in the election of the members of the Superior Council of Prosecutors, selected by the pre-vetting commission.
"CSP members are not elected for the Minister of Justice or for the Government, they are elected to streamline and to improve the activity of the prosecution system. Citizens expect integrity, honest and professional prosecutors to be in the judiciary, and you have all the freedom to contribute to the achievement of this goal", said Veronica Mihailov-Moraru in a message on Facebook.
We remind that, today, the Superior Council of Prosecutors established the organization of the General Assembly of Prosecutors on August 23. On the agenda of the meeting is the election of prosecutor members and their substitutes in the Superior Council of Prosecutors; CSP activity report and other topics.
