Border Police: 18 people were refused entry to the Republic of Moldova
The General Inspectorate of the Border Police announces that it prohibited the entry into the Republic of Moldova for 18 people during the day of July 24. In all, 65,097 people crossed the borders of the Republic of Moldova. Of these, 35,887 entered our country.
The border was crossed by more foreign citizens - 36,975, and the number of crossings by Moldovan citizens was 28,122.
"With reference to the crossing of the border by citizens of Ukraine, a total number of 16,221 crossings were recorded, of which 8,413 were in the direction of entry into Moldova. At the same time, the number of 3,190 constituted the crossings of Ukrainian minors", reports the Border Police. The most "active" border was with Romania where 37,498 crossings were registered, 16,950 crossings were reported at the Moldovan-Ukrainian border and another 10,649 crossings by plane.
At the same time, in the last 24 hours, the border police registered several contraventions, among them, a case of illegal trafficking of goods; two forged travel documents; a foreign citizen violated the rules of stay on the territory of the Republic of Moldova; violation of the crossing point regime by two people, as well as 21 violations of the rules for using the vignette and operating vehicles.
