Interim director of S.A. "Termoelectrica" resigns
Prime Minister Dorin Recean demands the resignation of the management of Termoelectrica, by the end of this week, after the fuel oil scandal. According to the head of the Executive, the situation is unacceptable. First of all, Dorin Recean said, burying fuel oil affects the environment, and secondly, this shows an unprofessional management of the Termoelectrica company.
Asked by Radio Moldova for a reaction, the interim director of S.A. "Termoelectrica" Vasile Leu said that he will resign.
"I will not comment, the decisions are executed. I will comply with this decision", said Vasile Leu.
We remind you that the leader of Our Party, Renato Usatîi, on July 21, said that "Termoelectrica" would have procured from public money, expensive and poor quality fuel oil, which is buried on the territory of Termoelectrica and that this happened in the fall of 2022. In this regard, the politician also presented several video evidence. On the other hand, the representatives of Termoelectrica denied the accusations and said that the images were from 2015. Later, the representatives of the institution announced that an internal investigation was started on this case.
We remind that the Prosecutor's Office of the Chisinau municipality also took act of the case and announced that investigations will be carried out.
