Trucks will be prohibited from driving on the streets of Chisinau, during the day, due to the heat wave
Heavy trucks are prohibited from driving on the streets of Chisinau between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. A decision in this sense was taken by the members of the Commission for Emergency Situations of the Chisinau municipality, in connection with the high temperatures of the last period.
According to the mayor of Chisinau Ion Ceban, because of trucks, the roads risk to deteriorate even more.
We remind that on hot days, over 30 degrees Celsius, vehicles weighing over 20 tons are not allowed to drive even on some national routes in the country, with the exception of passenger transport, cars transporting food products, materials for preventing or liquidating emergency situations.
