The European Social Democratic Party announced its candidate for mayor of Chisinau
The European Social Democratic Party (PSDE) announced today its candidate for the Chisinau elections. It is about the former praetor of the Buiucani sector, Vadim Brînzaniuc.
"Together we start this electoral battle for Chisinau. I am confident that our team will present itself honorably in the upcoming elections and will record a worthy result that will reconfirm the support PSDE enjoys in society. I am fully aware of the responsibility that falls on our shoulders and that of all our colleagues in Chisinau, because we want to come before the citizens with a serious political and administrative offer, to lay the foundations for a rapid and sustainable development of our capital. I have extensive experience in the field, I have been active in the administration for many years and I know the internal problems very well", said Vadim Brînzaniuc during the press conference.
We note that the general local elections will be held on November 5, 2023.
According to the CEC, the electoral campaign will start on the date of registration of the electoral contestants, but not earlier than 30 days before the voting day.
So far, several political formations have announced their candidates for the position of mayor in the municipality of Chisinau. Deputy Lilian Carp, the president of the National Security, Defense and Public Order Commission, was proposed on behalf of PAS. The CUB candidate is Ion Bulgac, and Mihail Bagas is the candidate of the social-political movement "League of Cities and Communes". The former vice mayor of Chisinau, Victor Chironda, is the candidate of the DA Platform, and Ion Purice - the candidate of the Liberal Party.
