Embassy of Greece will be opened in the Republic of Moldova
Greece has officially notified about the decision to open an embassy in Chisinau, the Moldovan ambassador to Athens, Andrei Popov, announced. According to the diplomat, this will contribute to the advancement of the bilateral partnership.
"I had a very good discussion today with Konstantinos Fragogiannis, Greek Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Cooperation, with whom I had a timely follow up on several issues agreed at the May meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Committee."
Andrei Popov also said that the authorities are continuing discussions with the Greek side to resume direct flights between Chisinau and Athens.
