Ala Nemerenco: The Republic of Moldova has a low number of Covid 19 cases

Recently, a low number of Covid 19 cases have been recorded in the Republic of Moldova, said the Minister of Health, Ala Nemerenco, during a program on TV8.

According to her, about 300 cases are reported weekly and the vaccination and testing capacity is very high. "At the moment we have 18 thousand tests per week, this proves that the testing capacity remains very high and the records we have are true. We cannot say that the testing capacity decreased. Throughout the week we have up to 3000 people vaccinated with different boosters", said Ala Nemerenco. Ala Nemerenco also said that every week about 300 people receive their first dose of the anti-Covid 19 vaccine. According to the data presented by the Ministry of Health, over 400 new cases of infection with COVID-19 and seven deaths were registered last week in our country. We mention that in all, about one million and one hundred thousand people were vaccinated in the Republic of Moldova.
