A permanent modern military camp will be built in Băcioi
A permanent modern military camp will be built near the town of Băcioi in Ialoveni district. For this purpose, the Parliament changed the destination of two agricultural lands with a total area of over 26 hectares.
A modern military camp is to be built. Parliament examined, today, a draft law that provides for the development of the infrastructure of the National Army. This priority derives from the Government's Action Plan for 2023, as well as from the Strategic Vision of the Ministry of Defense regarding the development of the National Army in the medium term for 2022-2025.
Thus, the document adopted by the deputies provides for the withdrawal from the agricultural circuit, for state and public needs, of a land with an area of 7.6 ha, administered by the Public Property Agency, under the management of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, and a land with the area of about 18.7 ha, administered by the Public Property Agency, under the management of the Ministry of Education and Research, located in the outskirts of Băcioi commune, Chisinau municipality.
We remind that the Minister of Defense, in collaboration with development partners and military experts, developed the concept study, as well as the feasibility study regarding the project of reconstruction and development of Permanent Military Camp Nb. 136.
