Putin’s speech to defense officials: "The country, the government, gives whatever the army asks for"
The military potential and capabilities of NATO countries are being actively used against Russia, Moscow leader Vladimir Putin said at an extended meeting of the Defense Ministry's board. According to him, the soldiers are fighting for Russia "firmly and courageously".
Vladimir Putin also said that the Government of the Russian Federation has no funding restrictions regarding the needs of the military. “First aid kits, food, uniforms, shoes, helmets, bulletproof vests – everything has to be at the most modern and high level. We have no funding restrictions. The country, the government, gives whatever the army asks for." According to the Kremlin leader, Russia will ensure that its nuclear forces are ready for combat, as "this is the main guarantee of preserving the sovereignty and territorial integrity of its country, strategic parity and the balance of power in the world," said the leader from the Kremlin. President Vladimir Putin has vowed that Russia will meet all its goals in what Moscow calls a "military operation" in Ukraine. On the other hand, Putin says that the partial mobilization announced at the end of this September revealed certain problems, which should be solved "promptly". "First of all, it is necessary to modernize the military commissariat system. This refers to the digitization of databases, interaction with local and regional authorities (…). It is necessary to improve the system of accumulation and storage of military technical weapons". We remind you that on September 21st, the Russian president announced a partial military mobilization in connection with the war in Ukraine. Under the decree signed by him, reservists and people with military experience were targeted.
