Councilor from Ocnița district, investigated for corrupting a mayor, placed in custody for 30 days
The Bălți Court decided to place in preventive detention, for 30 days, the district councilor of the Ocnita District Council, investigated in the case of corruption and money laundering.
We remind you that the councilor was detained, in the afternoon of August 2, while handing over an amount of 30 thousand dollars to the mayor of Ocnita.
According to the media, the arrested councilor is the husband of deputy Irina Lozovan, who, together with three other deputies from the BCS fraction, left the formation and joined the Renaissance Party.
