Vocational schools and colleges can apply for funding for infrastructure projects
Vocational schools, colleges and centres of excellence can apply until 25 August for a total of 25 million lei in funding for infrastructure projects. This is additional funding from the Ministry of Education and Research based on project proposals submitted.
Educational institutions can apply for funding for the purchase of goods and services, including capital and current repairs, cartographic and cadastral works and other expenses, according to a press release from the Ministry of Education.
Thus, for 2023, more than 11.4 million lei will be allocated for secondary technical vocational education institutions and more than 13.6 million lei for post-secondary technical vocational education institutions.
The distribution of financial resources for additional funding will also take into account the number of students in the institution and the degree of use of buildings. Another condition is that at least 85% of the admission plan for the current year of study with budgetary funding is achieved.
