Strengthening the healthcare system: CNAMUP received a donation of 300 cooler bags
The National Pre-hospital Emergency Medical Assistance Center (CNAMUP) received 300 cooler bags and 600 flexible coolers. The donation comes from the Mission of the International Organization for Migration in the Republic of Moldova, with the financial support of the European Union to support the strengthening of the healthcare system in the Republic of Moldova.
"We know that the pressure is very high on this service, including in the conditions of a large number of refugees who are in the Republic of Moldova. I can mention that during the past year alone, the Emergency Pre-hospital Assistance had more than 11 thousand requests just for the provision of medical aid to refugees from Ukraine. This year we already have over 6,000 requests", mentioned the state secretary from the Ministry of Health, Ion Prisăcaru.
The mission of the International Organization for Migration in the Republic of Moldova claims that around 7,000 people who are offered emergency services every year will benefit from quality assistance.
