Nicu Popescu participated in the 40th meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the GUAM member states
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Nicu Popescu, participated on Wednesday in videoconference format at the 40th meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the GUAM member states.
The event marked the end of the current presidency of the organization by the Republic of Moldova during this year. The head of diplomacy from Chisinau stated that our country remains firm in supporting the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and will continue to provide safety and well-being for 81 thousand refugees from Ukraine living in the Republic of Moldova, to be offered humanitarian assistance . The Republic of Moldova last held the presidency of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM in 2018.
