The Latvian Ambassador ends his mandate: Diplomat met with Maia Sandu
Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia Uldis Mikuts ends his diplomatic mission in the Republic of Moldova. The official had a meeting with President Maia Sandu, who "appreciated the good friendly relations between our countries and thanked the diplomat for his efforts in boosting bilateral cooperation".
During his mandate, our country was visited by President Egils Levits, Prime Minister Krišjānis Kariņš and President of Seim Edvards Smiltēns.
The Head of State noted that the visits of the Latvian Prime Ministers contribute to the strengthening of relations between our countries and are an important signal of support for the European course of the Republic of Moldova.
Maia Sandu also thanked the Latvian government for paying special attention to the Republic of Moldova in its foreign development assistance.
