Newborn baby among 7 civilians killed in Russian attack on Herson
The Russian military bombarded the Herson region on Wednesday morning, killing at least seven people, according to Ukrainian media.

Five people were killed in the shelling in the village of Shyroka Balka, including a family of four: parents and their two children, a 12-year-old son and a newborn baby aged 23 days.
The boy died in hospital, while the rest of the victims were killed on the spot.
In addition, two men were killed in a rocket strike that hit the nearby village of Stanislav, according to the head of the presidential office Andriy Yermak. Five buildings were damaged.
The attack came as Russian forces continued their offensive in eastern Ukraine, where they have been making slow progress in recent days.
The Ukrainian military has said that it is repelling Russian attacks and that it is inflicting heavy casualties on the enemy.
The fighting in eastern Ukraine has caused a humanitarian crisis, with millions of people displaced from their homes.
The United Nations has called for an end to the violence and has urged both sides to return to the negotiating table.
