Republic of Moldova's passport ranked 51st in the world

The Republic of Moldova's passport has been ranked 51st in the world in terms of travel freedom, according to the latest Henley Passport Index report. This means that holders of a Moldovan passport can travel visa-free to 121 countries.

Romania and Bulgaria rank 14th in the list, with their citizens able to travel visa-free to 177 destinations. The world's most powerful passport is held by Singapore citizens, who can travel visa-free to 193 countries.

Finland, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Spain, and Sweden share second place with a score of 190 destinations. Austria, Denmark, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom also share third place with 189 destinations.

At the bottom of the ranking is Afghanistan, which allows citizens to travel to just 27 countries. The Henley Passport Index is based on data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
