Dinu Plîngău reaction after eight municipal councilors and Andrei Năstase left the DA Platform
The President of the Dignity and Truth Platform (DA), Dinu Plîngău, came with a reaction after the former leader of the party, Andrei Năstase, and most of the municipal councillors of the formation announced their resignation from the party. Dinu Plîngău announced on his Facebook page that he took note of the statements of the 9 municipal councillors and taking into account Andrei Năstase's past merits, he will refrain from making comments regarding the speech he gave to the press.
Radio Moldova recalls that on Thursday, December 22, the former president of the Dignity and Truth Platform, Andrei Năstase, and eight of the party's municipal councillors left the party. At the same time, they also announced that they will sue the current president of the formation, Dinu Plîngău.
On Tuesday, the National Political Bureau of the DA Platform decided to withdraw political support for the entire Fraction in the Chisinau Municipal Council, after its members voted for the Zonal Urbanistic Plans that they consider controversial. The next day, the general secretary of the DA Platform, Liviu Vovc, stated that two municipal councils continue to enjoy the support of the party.
