Fire engulfs 27-storey skyscraper in Tianjin, China (Digi24)

A fire has engulfed a 27-storey skyscraper in the Chinese metropolis of Tianjin on Tuesday.

Flames spread from the bottom to the top of one of the facades of the 27-storey building, which houses offices.

280 firefighters from 20 stations with 62 cars mobilised to extinguish the fire, which only consumed the insulation layer on the outside.

No casualties were reported.
