Moldovan bus collides with truck, ambulance overturns in Poland
Ten Moldovan citizens were injured in two car accidents in Poland on Wednesday, August 23, the Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE) said on Thursday.
The first accident occurred on the S-17 highway near the town of Gorzno, Poland. A bus carrying Moldovans collided with a truck. Ten people were injured in the crash and were being transported to nearby hospitals when the ambulance that had taken the injured from the bus crash collided with a car and overturned. All are out of danger.
The causes of the accidents are under investigation.
The MAEIE said that the Embassy of Moldova in Warsaw is in contact with local authorities and is ready to take all necessary consular actions.
