Remnants of Prigozhin's plane crash evacuated for examination

The remnants of the human remains and bodies found at the site of Prigozhin's plane crash have been evacuated, UNIAN reported. The remains will be handed over to the Tver Regional Forensic Medical Bureau for identification.

Some of the bodies are charred, so DNA tests may be needed.

Meanwhile, in St. Petersburg, near the Wagner Center, Russian citizens have improvised a memorial. City residents are bringing flowers and Wagner Group symbols to the site.

The plane crash occurred on August 23 in the Tver region of the Russian Federation. There were 10 people on board, including three crew members.

Rescuers found the remains of 10 people at the crash site. According to a list published by the Russian aviation authority, the plane was carrying members of the Wagner Group, including its leader Yevgeny Prigozhin and Wagner commander Dmitry Utkin.
