"The Wagner Group is now under Putin's command. Let everyone answer the question: will the threat be smaller or greater? For me, it's a rhetorical question," Morawiecki said at a press conference.

Morawiecki's comments come after a plane carrying Wagner Group leader Evgeniy Prigozhin, along with the group's chief commander Dmitri Utkin, and other Wagner representatives, crashed in the Tver region, near Moscow, on Wednesday. Russian authorities confirmed the deaths of the 10 people on board.

The Wagner Group is a private military company that has been accused of human rights abuses and war crimes in countries such as Syria, Libya, and Ukraine. The group is believed to be close to the Russian government and has been used by the Kremlin to further its interests in foreign conflicts.
