Russia intercepts Ukrainian drones near Moscow, Bryansk
Russian air defences shot down two Ukrainian drones near Moscow and two others near the border with Ukraine in the Bryansk region on Monday, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
In Moscow, the drone was shot down over the Lyublino district in the southeast of the city. There were no reports of casualties or damage.
The airports of Domodedovo and Vnukovo were closed briefly for arrivals and departures.
The attacks come as Ukraine has stepped up its counteroffensive in the Donbas region, where Russian forces have been making slow progress.
