Moldovan Parliament Speaker visits Lithuania for talks on cooperation
Moldova's Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu will travel to Vilnius, Lithuania, from September 8-10, 2023, to attend the opening of the Lithuanian Seimas plenary session.
During his visit, Grosu will meet with Lithuanian President of the Seimas Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen, Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė, and Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis. He will also meet with Lithuanian MPs Žygimantas Pavilionis, Chairman of the Seimas Foreign Affairs Committee, Laurynas Kasčiūnas, Chairman of the Committee on National Security and Defence, and Kazys Starkevičius, Chairman of the Committee on Economy and of the Group for Inter Parliamentary Relations with the Republic of Moldova.
The head of the Moldovan legislature will discuss investment opportunities in Moldova with the leadership of the Kaunas Free Economic Zone and representatives of Lithuanian companies.
Grosu will be accompanied on his visit by Doina Gherman, Chairwoman of the Committee on Foreign Policy and European Integration.
