The examination was held in three centres in Chișinău, Bălți, and Cahul. The results of the examination will be published on September 11, 2023.

According to the CEC, the examination was based on a methodology that includes methods, techniques, and procedures that will allow participants to obtain information and knowledge in the field of electoral law and will be applied in their work as electoral officials.

The CEC notes that, according to Article 35(5) and Article 38(12) of the Electoral Code, persons who hold valid certificates of qualification issued by the CICDE are eligible to be appointed to the position of member of any electoral council or polling station bureau. In addition, persons who are included in the register of electoral officials on the date of entry into force of the Electoral Code are considered to be certified by default, with the validity of their qualification certificates being two years.
