Romanians to receive Ro-alert messages in case of drone or missile debris
Romanian citizens living near the border with Ukraine will be warned by Ro-alert messages if drone or missile debris falls on their territory.
This is one of the decisions adopted by the Romanian National Committee for Emergency Situations. According to the decision, the Romanian Ministry of Defense is authorised to establish zones on the Romanian side of the Danube River, opposite the Ukrainian ports of Reni and Ismail, which have been bombarded by Russia, where population protection measures must be taken, Digi24.ro reports.
In addition, county emergency services will train people in conflict-affected areas on how to deal with such situations.
