Bus carrying Moldovans involved in fatal accident in Romania
Two cars and a bus carrying Moldovans were involved in a fatal accident in Romania on Saturday morning.
The accident occurred near the town of Crasna, in Vaslui County, at around 2:00 a.m. local time.
According to the Vaslui County Police, a car travelling from Crasna to Bârlad crossed the centre line and hit a second car travelling from Bârlad to Crasna. The second car was then hit by a bus carrying 25 people, including 22 Moldovans.
The driver of the first car, a 38-year-old man from Galați, was killed at the scene. A passenger from the second car, a 42-year-old man from Stănilești, also died at the scene.
Another passenger from the first car, a 42-year-old man from Ghidigeni, died in the hospital.
Two passengers from the second car are in a coma.
The driver of the bus, a 36-year-old man from Bucharest, was not injured.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
