Border Police will streamline cross-border traffic
The Border Police ordered several actions to streamline traffic at the state border during the winter holidays. According to the source, during this period the number of border crossings increases, especially at the border with Romania.

Thus, the number of front-line personnel and special travel document control equipment was increased. In order to reduce the waiting time, the infrastructure of the border crossing points is used to the maximum, additional control lines are opened to traffic and, if necessary, the "Reverse" procedure is applied. At the border of the Republic of Moldova, seven crossing points with Romania and 33 with Ukraine are open to traffic. In this context, we remind that starting today the Commission for Emergency Situations has established a facilitated regime for Ukrainian citizens crossing the state border. Thus, until February 1, 2023, refugees can cross the border between Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, the Moldovan-Romanian border, as well as the air border of our country, with internal Ukrainian documents.
